Nuvyyo Expands Lineup With New Tablo Dual Lite

Company Introduces $139.99 USD Over-The-Air DVR for Cord Cutters

Ottawa, Ontario(29 Mar 2018)

Nuvyyo, makers of the Tablo OTA DVR for cord cutters, today announced its new Tablo DUAL LITE, a lower-cost variant of its popular Tablo DUAL 64GB model, will be available starting April 1, 2018. The Tablo DUAL LITE lets consumers discover, record, and stream live antenna TV at a significantly lower price-point*, with the same fully-featured, whole-home networked DVR experience and improved WiFi.

Tablo DUAL LITE OTA DVR makes it easy to stream and record live TV for consumers ready to cancel their cable contracts. Tablo DUAL LITE provides the OTA DVR features cord cutters love, like easy-to-use live TV streaming and one-touch series recording. Tablo DUAL LITE works with any Over-the-Air TV antenna, and supports external USB hard drives up to 8TB, which provides approximately 2,000 hours of HDTV recording storage.

“The Tablo DUAL 64GB quickly became one of our most popular OTA DVRs, but some TV fans still prefer the ‘bring your own storage’ approach of our original 2-Tuner model,” said Grant Hall, CEO of Nuvyyo. “Tablo DUAL LITE is a DVR that delivers everything our customers love about Tablo DUAL, with the savings and flexibility to choose the storage option that works best for them.”

Tablo DUAL LITE can stream or record up to two OTA TV channels at once. Unlike other antenna DVRs on the market, Tablo DUAL uses Ethernet or 802.11ac dual-band WiFi to connect your TV antenna to your home network. This makes it easy for cord cutters to optimize placement of their antenna for ideal OTA TV signal reception and enables Tablo DUAL LITE to deliver live or recorded TV programs to any device, anytime, anywhere.

Watch TV on All Your Devices
Tablo DUAL LITE is compatible with the full range of Tablo apps which makes it easy for cord cutters to watch, pause, and record broadcast network TV programs on:

  • iOS/Android smartphones and tablets
  • PC/MAC computers
  • Streaming media devices including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Chromecast
  • Gaming systems including Xbox One and NVIDIA SHIELD TV
  • Smart TVs including Roku, Android, Samsung TIZEN, and LG WebOS 2.0+

*External USB storage and antenna must be purchased separately.

Pricing and Availability
The Tablo DUAL LITE OTA DVR will be available at an MSRP of $139.99 USD exclusively at select Best Buy retail stores and online at BestBuy.com starting April 1, 2018. Additional retail availability as well as Canadian retail pricing to be announced.

Optional Tablo Guide Data Service
Tablo DUAL LITE OTA DVRs include a free 30-day trial of the Tablo optional TV guide data service which provides episode and series synopses, cover art, and metadata for programs airing over the next two weeks, as well as access to advanced DVR features like one-touch series recording and out-of-home streaming via Tablo Connect. Customers can choose from service options starting at $4.99 USD/$5.99 CAD monthly, $49.99 USD/$59.99 CAD annually, or a one-time payment of $149.99 USD/$179.99 CAD for lifetime service.
